The Co-Pilot is a safe and wonderful way to introduce your growing child to the exhilarating experience of bicycles, while still keeping them under your control. It is ideal for parents who like to take their child on longer rides than the child's legs can manage or for parents whose child hasn't mastered riding just yet. The child can help pedal along or just coast and enjoy the scenery. The Co-Pilot is sturdily constructed — just like a regular 20" bicycle. It includes regular handlebars, a seat, pedals and a chain guard. It attaches easily and quickly to many bicycles with a seat post and folds up for storage when not in use. It even comes with a safety flag to alert motorists. But the most important part of the Co-Pilot is the pivot, and WeeRide has the best — the Sync Link Pivot. WeeRide's patented pivot ensures a safe and smooth ride for your child. Of our rental bikes, our WeeRide is only compatible with the Large and Extra Large Rolls and the Medium and Large Treadwells.
Adams Trail-a-Bike Original Shifter 7
For longer rides, little legs can get tired, so Adams has added gears to help the young ones have an easier go of pedaling. Safety and performance are combined with the Original Shifter 7 — for the family that rides together. Our Adams is not yet compatible with any of our rental bikes.
Trek MT-201
The MT-201 pedal trailer lets your child tag along on rides and practice balancing while pedaling. It fits many conventional bikes and features a 20" wheel with a fully adjustable saddle, a safety flag for extra visibility and a foldable arm for storage. Of our rental bikes, our Trek is only compatible with the Comfort Bikes.
A Tag-a-Long rental includes helmets and a lock at no additional cost.
Rental equipment may only be picked up or dropped off during rental hours. Bikes may not be dropped off when Skirack is closed.
The Skirack parking lot is available for customers only while shopping in the store. Please ask a staff member for parking recommendations during your rental if necessary.
The Adams includes rear fenders, but the other Tag-a-Longs do not.
Skirack cannot guarantee that our rental Tag-a-Longs will be compatible with riders' personal bikes without first verifying in-store.
The retail price of the WeeRide is $78.50 and of the Adams is $89.99.
All sizing recommendations are provided by WeeRide, Adams or Trek.
Should you decide to cancel or change the time of your reservation, please call the store at least twenty-four hours in advance of your pickup time. Reservations must be cancelled at least one day in advance for a refund.
Skirack staff will do our best to assist in the event of a flat tire or mechanical issue during a rental, but the time it will take to help is dependent on staffing, particularly on busy, thinly-staffed days.
